Our second annual exhibition on Friday night was again, a huge success.
Thank you to everyone who came along and contributed to making the event such a great night! Also a big thank you to all of the sponsors and donators that made the event possible.
It was fantastic for us to get a range of our learners, partners, friends, family and colleagues altogether to celebrate with us. The 2-hours flew by and the feedback and comments have been fantastic.
Deputy Mayor Alan Emerson said:
” I have been totally impressed by the work I have seen tonight. I am especially honoured to speak to some of the volunteers who were recently service users themselves. Keep up the great work Media Savvy.”
The general feeling was that people were feeling very humbled, inspired and overwhelmed with some of our learners’ personal achievements as well as their fabulous artwork. ‘Our Pete’ gave a fantastic speech, discussing his own journey and progression, which had (more than) a few people discreetly wiping their eyes. Keep a look out for footage in the coming days!
