Our courses:

Our courses are informal, fun and social and are tailored to each individual’s needs/interests. The majority of our courses are free to those in receipt of mainstream benefits in Sunderland and South Tyneside aged 19+, however, we do have other learning opportunities available and as always we’re happy to discuss these, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. See the flyers below for more details:

What do the learners get out of it?

Personal projects include subjects such as family, hobbies, and some small business startups have even designed logos and marketing materials. Videos have been as diverse as slideshows with transitions, to stop animation and even a spoof documentary, which they are encouraged to take away on their own memory devices to share with their friends and family. We teach in an informal, fun environment, and all learners needs are supported with regard to their qualification. Each cohort probably won’t get any larger than around 12 learners, and we teach all levels of learners, some of which have absolutely no experience whatsoever in IT or the Arts.
Having the Adobe software experience on a CV, as well as the qualification will be valuable, for any future employment prospects, as I’m sure you will be aware there is a drive for more computer literacy, and having a Level 1 Certificate in IT User Skills qualification will be good to have on a CV.

“Overall my experience was excellent, friendly, social and informative. My knowledge has vastly improved, and helped me through tutorials to learn techniques and apply these to my projects. Highly recommend this course. Tutor very patient and nothing was too much bother even when asked stupid questions by me!” Angela D, Penshaw.
